At Action Ventures, our work is dedicated to empowering the most vulnerable children and youth in Malawi. Through a comprehensive range of programs, we provide the resources and support needed to help them overcome challenges and achieve their dreams.

WHAT WE DO​

— Food & Shelter

We offer immediate relief to street children and orphans by providing nutritious meals and safe, secure shelter. Our feeding programs ensure that children receive the sustenance they need to grow and thrive, while our housing initiatives offer a stable environment where they can feel safe and cared for.

Education is the cornerstone of our efforts to create lasting change. We provide scholarships, school supplies, and vocational training to equip children with the knowledge and skills they need for a successful future. Our educational programs are designed to foster a love of learning and open doors to new opportunities.

Strong communities are essential for the well-being of children. We work closely with families and local leaders to offer family reunification services, health and hygiene workshops, and economic empowerment programs. By strengthening community ties, we create a supportive network that helps children flourish.

Good health is fundamental to a child’s ability to learn and grow. Our healthcare programs provide regular medical check-ups, vaccinations, and treatment for common illnesses. We also conduct health education workshops to promote hygiene and preventive care, ensuring children stay healthy and vibrant.

Children who have experienced trauma and hardship need emotional and psychological support to heal and thrive. Our psychosocial programs include counseling, art therapy, and group activities designed to build self-esteem, resilience, and a sense of community. We create a nurturing environment where children can express themselves and find solace.

Preparing children for adulthood involves more than just academic education. Our life skills training programs teach essential skills such as financial literacy, communication, problem-solving, and leadership.
